The Exercise Science program offers two graduate degrees and one undergraduate degree. Our broad spectrum of research includes: environmental physiology, thermoregulation and heat illness, genomics, nutrition and supplementation, cardiovascular regulation, and endocrinology, among others.

Our graduate programs often lead to positions in research, academia, government, and corporate health. Graduate students work closely with an advisor in their area of interest and actively participate in research at the Human Performance Laboratory, where sophisticated technology is used to study important questions dealing with physiology, biochemistry, nutrition, medicine, and biomechanics. Please see our Human Performance Laboratory website for more information on our research capabilities.

We offer a competitive undergraduate concentration in Exercise Science. This program, depending on the extent of your education, could lead to any of the following professions: exercise specialist, strength and conditioning specialist, personal trainer, laboratory technician, or exercise scientist.
