The Lindenwood University Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Management will allow you to advance your career in healthcare settings such as hospitals, outpatient care facilities, health insurance companies, urgent care facilities, and long-term care environments in such roles as healthcare administrator, manager, consultant, or specialist.

The curriculum includes coursework in business, healthcare, and liberal arts.

Earning a Health Management Degree at Lindenwood University

When you major in health management, you will complete the general education requirements, 24 semester hours of core Health Management requirements as well as Plaster College of Business and General Education requirements. A total of 120 credit hours are required to graduate.

Faculty with Health Management Experience

The Health Management instructors at Lindenwood University each have applicable real-world experience in their course areas. This gives you the opportunity to learn about day-to-day activities and also understand the scope of projects that you will be expected to complete once employed as an information security analyst. You also will have the opportunity to network with others in your classes.

Healthcare Management Minor

The Healthcare Management Minor is available to students pursuing other degrees within LU. The completion of four Health Management courses, four Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship courses, and one of either Microeconomics or Statistics.

Healthcare Management Emphasis

Lindenwood University gives students who are pursuing a BA or BS in Business Administration the opportunity to earn an emphasis in Health Management in an online environment by completing 12 of their 21-24 credit hours of elective coursework in Health Management.

The Business Administration (BA, BS) with emphasis in Health Management is offered in both hybrid and online formats.
