Statistics Concentration
The Statistics Concentration is intended for students aiming at careers in business and industry. Students are required to obtain a solid mathematics background in addition to their statistical training.

Majors in the Statistics Concentration seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics degree must complete the B.A. language requirement.
Majors in the Statistics Concentration must have a 2.0 GPA in all required MATH, STAT, and ITEC courses.
*--A grade of at least a C is required in MATH 171 (or 168 and 169), 172, and 271. Departmental majors receiving credit for MATH 271 cannot subsequently receive credit for any 100-level mathematics course unless the course is required for their concentration.
