  • Entrance examination of Spring 2024 Master of Business Administration, International Business Management

    Here follows information about the entrance examination of Spring 2024. The invitation to the entrance examination is sent approximately a week before the exam date which includes the time of your entrance examination. The time and date of the exam cannot be changed. The IBM entrance exam will be organized 9.3. as an online exam that consists of two parts. The duration of the test is two hours.

    The first part is the written part which consists of a multiple-choice exam and a written text. The maximum number of points from this part is 80. In the multiple-choice exam, there are minus points for wrong answers. This part has a maximum duration of 90 minutes. The second part is a spoken video part with a maximum of 20 points. In the test, your language skills and motivation are tested. This part has a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

    There is no pre-material for the entrance examination. Admission is based on the score of the online entrance examination. Please note, that student admission is conditional until SeAMK has checked the eligibility of the admitted student and the information and documents regarding the student admission. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences will withdraw the admission, if the applicant does not provide the documents by the deadline or if he/she has given inadequate or false information in the application process. Your application can be withdrawn even after the entrance examination.  

    Master of Business Administration, International Business Management studies will start in autumn 2024.

What Are the Objectives of the Programme?

In the Degree Programme in International Business Management, you learn how to develop international business with the help of new kind of thinking and operating models. With the help of education, you can strengthen and develop your own expertise and get support for your personal career plan.

How are the Studies Organised?

Multimodal online learning methods are used. The studies include also face-to-face teaching every other week on Friday and Saturday. Studies emphasise independent work as well as solving learning assignments. The development project is an essential part of the studies. The language of instruction is English.

Partners for the Course Content

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has strong co-operation with its international key partners: University of Applied Sciences Aschaffenburg (Germany) and University of Missouri, St Louis (USA). The co-operation includes a common Global Master School, other course options and welcoming visiting lecturers, for example.

In addition, the double degree programme is organised in co-operation with Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. In Finland, the programme is in partnership with Vaasa University of Applied Sciences in terms of elective studies in project management.
