The Master of Arts in Mathematics is designed for those who wish to teach mathematics at the community college level, teach dual-credit and/or AP courses at the high school level, and/or pursue a doctorate in Mathematics Education. This non-thesis program includes a 12-hour core in Mathematics, 9 elective hours of approved graduate Mathematics courses, a 3-hour directed reading and research course which includes a written report on the research, an oral comprehensive exam, and a 12-hour minor in an approved field.

Prerequisites for admission include three semesters of undergraduate Calculus and Linear Algebra with B's or higher.
