The 1st-level Degree Course in Information Engineering aims at forming professional figures with wide and transversal competences in the area of design and application of systems and techniques for the acquisition, conversion, transmission, processing and management of the information as electrical quantities both analog and digital.
For this purpose, they are considered to be essential the theoretic knowledge and the capability of using practically the techniques for the analysis and the synthesis of: analog and digital electronic circuits, microwave devices, telecommunication systems, systems and codes for information processing, control systems, measuring instruments for the electrical parameters of all these systems.
This professional figure answers to the needs of a technical job market in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that, especially at first employment level, requires great elasticity and capability to professionally deals with interdisciplinary problems.
The educational objectives are achieved through a balanced training program over three years that allows the student to get:
The educational objectives, organized per topics, are the following:
The 1st-level Degree Course is organized in a unique curriculum, offering basic, characterizing, and integrative training activities. The training objectives and the results of the knowledge give to the graduate student the necessary means for either a direct inclusion in the job market or the continuation of studies towards a Master Degree.
