You’ll learn to develop and evaluate programs and policies to benefit families, individuals and communities through a balanced human development and family science curriculum based on the 10 key content areas identified by the NCFR. And you'll learn from faculty who have attained the Certified Family Life Educator credential and have years of experience in the field.
The graduate degree includes a minimum of 120 hours of field experience, allowing you to actively participate in a professional setting. You will have opportunities to relate human development and family science knowledge from your degree program to practice; develop awareness of professional expectations within the field; and reflect on standards of ethical practice in a workplace setting.
