Graduate Studies

Accountancy

The professors are the biggest assets of the accounting department. As accounting classes become more difficult it is the support and encouragement of the professors that keep students motivated and prevent them from switching majors. With this support, as students continue through the accounting courses, they soon learn to handle the increasing rigor of the coursework and appreciate the preparation they receive for their professional careers. The accounting organizations are also strength of the program. These national organizations provide an opportunity for students to become well rounded professionals. Students not only gain knowledge outside of the classroom, but also improve communication and teamwork skills.” -- Patricia Lake, Accountant, John Deere (MAcc, 2010)
