Overview

MSc Structural and Building Products Engineering offers top-level studies, that focus on training your intellectual curiosity and on developing a complex, broad approach towards construction engineering. At KTU, we educate engineers to not only acquire existing knowledge but also to develop new expertise on innovative technologies, to solve problems in the field of construction, to implement real-world projects.

During the studies, you will deepen your knowledge on the various building structures’ design, you will master the advanced research methods. In the process, you will learn to easily operate the latest technologies in construction products and quality assurance techniques.

• Open access to KTU labs equipped with the information modelling (BIM) methodology and other technology for experimental research
• The teaching in this study programme is based on expert activities and creativity: non-standard, progressive thinking is encouraged

Top reasons to study at KTU:

1. Working with international companies: “Peikko Lietuva”, Inhus Engineering, Staticus, Ecodomus, YIT Lietuva and others.
2. Programme focuses on the development of analytical and advanced approach towards building products and structures, their characteristics and applications.
3. Building Information Modelling (BIM), applied in the study process, equips the students with the insight and tools to analyse and plan complex process of construction.

Career opportunities

“During studies the person learns not only a certain “craft”, but also develops an ability to communicate with people, which is very useful in the professional activities. Studies provide the ground and everything else depends on personal features – diligence, persistence, willingness to acquire knowledge, to move forward, and, of course, a little bit of luck.”“Immo-Invest”, Manager, Mantas Raišys.
