Earn a career-boosting certificate, prepare for exams, and journey toward a master’s degree.

Project management is found across the private, public, and military sectors – especially within information technology. This certificate is designed for both technical and non-technical students who want to gain the knowledge and skills relating to software development or IT project management.

Completion of the information technology and project management and/or the advanced project management courses as part of the certificate prepares you for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or the Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM®) exams.

Interested in earning your Master of Business Administration degree? At CSU’s College of Business, you can start with a certificate and finish with an MBA. The credits earned in this certificate can be applied toward the College’s Online MBA or Evening MBA programs, but please note that completion of this certificate does not guarantee admission into the MBA program.

The graduate certificate in information technology project management is offered by the College of Business Department of Computer Information Systems.
