Fast Track Courses

In order to pursue an MBA at Louisiana Tech, students must complete foundation course requirements, covering a broad array of subjects that prepare students for graduate work in business administration. Students with undergraduate degrees in business will most likely have completed these courses in their undergraduate studies. For those without undergraduate degrees in business, there are two ways to satisfy these requirements. First, a student can complete the 15 hours of credit by enrolling in our five undergraduate foundation courses. Second, we have an online Fast-Track option consisting of four, self-paced, pass/fail foundation courses. Students register for these courses over a regular 10-week quarter, however many find that they can complete these courses in less time. Transcripts are evaluated to determine which foundation courses are required. Note these courses can be taken concurrently with some MBA-level courses.

Please contact Kassi Speaks in the Office of Graduate Studies and Research to enroll in the Fast Track courses.

Already have an undergraduate degree in an area other than business? You may be able to earn a Post-Graduate Business Foundations Certificate through the Fast Track courses.
