Why Study Foundational Mathematics at CBU?

Foundational mathematics combines the classical study of mathematics with courses in education theory and methods. Those who enjoy logic puzzles, studying shapes, solving problems and learning how to be a caring and intuitive math teacher will find a perfect fit in CBU’s foundational mathematics program. Graduates will be exempt from the first two parts of the CSET in mathematics and will have completed the prerequisites for a teaching credential.
