This program combines foundation courses in education with courses in the principles and practices of nursing education. It prepares students to function in nursing educational roles in academic and nonacademic settings.
Admissions
Applicants must hold a master's degree in nursing. Applicants must meet the admission standards and application requirements specified in Graduate Admissions and apply using the Application for Graduate Admission. Acceptance to the nursing program is contingent upon admission to the university. The application process is competitive, and applications are considered for the fall and spring semesters. Certificate Requirements
Total credits: 15
This certificate may be pursued on a part-time basis only.
Candidates must have 15 graduate credits and a minimum GPA of 3.00 in course work, with no more than 3 credits with a grade of C to earn the certificate.
