The University of La Verne no longer offers Social Justice Higher Education Administration as a master’s degree. However, the social justice higher education curriculum is now being offered as a concentration within the Master of Science in Educational Counseling program.
This alignment will deepen our graduates’ capacity to work with diverse student populations at both two-year and four-year post-secondary institutions and make meaningful change in higher education. Furthermore, this re-alignment is consistent with standards of the profession, while still maintaining a social justice emphasis.
