If academics is your thing
Each year, students make the choice of continuing their studies. The avenues are many:
Technical educattion:
Of the MSc (Master of Science) or MS (Specialized Master), labeled “Conférence des grandes écoles” or DNM, these training courses, of around one year provide a particular specialization depending on one’s professional objective (ex: MS Aéronautique Supaéro)
A Doctorate may also be carried out over three years. Thesis subjects are offered particularly within the IRSEEM School’s Laboratory. CIFRE agreements (Industrial Research Training Agreements) are offered by companies. After the Doctorate, researchers can continue in public or private sector research or join the R&D department of a company. The Doctorate is also an international benchmark diploma (PhD).
Note: ESIGELEC offers dual degrees with the University of Rouen Normandy or abroad, as part of the Engineering program.
Management education:
MS (Specialized Masters) labeled Conférence des Grandes Écoles, or DNM provide dual competencies. Come can be carried out on a work-study basis (alternatively). Students can also register as part of a business creation project (Ex: MS Central-Essec Entrepreneurs)
Note: ESIGELEC offers dual degrees with Audencia Nantes, Noema BS Rouen, IMT BS or abroad, as part of the Engineering Program.
For the entrepreneur in you
Here's what we organise to give you a peek into the journey of an entrepreneur, from concept to implementation:
• General talk on entrepreneurship
• Personalised mentoring
During the talk, students learn about new trends and opportunities, it is also an occasion where they are encouraged to share their own ideas.
The session aims to:
- nurture the entrepreneur in the students by giving them insights on “Where to begin” and “How to achieve success.
- provide academics and practitioners with a valuable platform for discussion to analyse major issues and challenges related to all aspects of entrepreneurship: Innovation, Family Business and Management.
The Graduates’ Network in companies
Based on the observation that many companies increasingly favour the graduates’ network to forge and develop School-Company Relations, the major objective is to create, develop and run a Graduates’ Network in partner and/or target companies: “the Tetes des Tribus”. The Network allows us to identify graduates in partner companies and stay in contact with the alumni. The Network of Graduates in Companies is nurtured by the mutual promotion of the company for the school and vice versa, its vocation is to be a catalyst of opportunities that has multiple missions:
For ESIGELEC:
- Increase the visibility of ESIGELEC among companies both, in France and abroad.
- Develop relations and exchanges between graduates in order for them to benefit from an efficient professional network
- Offer a large number of services: support in job search, help with professional integration and advice on career management, etc.
- Initiate new partnerships.
For the Company:
- Increasing the brand awareness of the Company among our students, thus ensuring better visibility of its activities, professions and other missions.
- Responding to the issues related to the recruitment of young talent.
- Facilitating the integration of new-comers.
