Taught from our Lyon campus, the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence & Digital Technology Management enhances your ability to acquire the critical skills needed today to navigate in our increasingly complex and dynamic digital world. This is among the first global programmes specialising in artificial intelligence and digital technology for business management.

Artificial intelligence is already extensively used in most businesses areas (including autonomous robots in warehouses, logistics and supply chains, business analytics and credit scoring), and it is highly prevalent in our private lives in the form of autonomous vehicles, resource matching, recommendation systems or facial recognition. This is a rapidly evolving field exhibiting exponential growth which will soon affect all areas of business and society.

Tackling the challenges of a company's digital evolution
In the MSc AI and DTM, you will take part in a state-of-the-art programme, unique in the digital field worldwide. The course combines both the hard skills for mastering AI and other advanced digital technologies, and the soft skills for leading the digitisation of organisations. Class activities are built on a learning-by-doing principle so you can immediately apply newfound knowledge.

The advent of the information society has put greater emphasis on the importance of data as valuable sources of information for organisations to transform and grow in digitalising environments. As a result, the increasing amount of data and rapidly advancing digital technologies are creating unprecedented opportunities for companies to become more agile, adaptable, and proactive in meeting their customers’ needs and preferences.

This means that future managers in such digitalising environments are expected to be well acquainted with emerging technologies and to acquire the fundamental skills for managing digital technologies in order to support the transformation or the competitive goals of their company. Business and customer analytics
How to exploit customer data using advanced analytics to interpret data for business purposes.

The digital world: Sociological perspectives on the digital era
Understanding the social implications of digitalisation to become skilled leaders, including the many ethical issues surrounding new technologies.

Artificial intelligence and organisations
To understand the fundamentals of artificial intelligence technologies and how they impact organisations.

Fundamentals of digital technologies: Machine learning, deep learning, blockchain and IoT
To understand major technologies in the digital era and how they shape business processes and transactions.

Advanced digital transformation
To understand the stages of digital transformation within an organisation.

Semester 2

Social media engineering
To be able to design a social media campaign on a major social media platform.

Big data and data mining techniques
Big data management and data mining techniques to transform data into valuable information for a company.

The digital project - coding and field work
The beginning of this course will consist of an introduction to coding using the STEAM approach to problem-solving. The application part will be about programming an autonomous vehicle using block programming.

Platform and digital economics
To be able to analyse the business model of online platforms.

Ethics of technology
To be able to identify and explain the main ethical issues in technology management.

Digital content challenge
You will be supervised by a technical coach and will develop a fully operational product/service campaign for an institution or a stakeholder.

Field trip
You will attend a major digital event in Europe. Although the event may vary every year, it is expected to take place outside of France or the city of Lyon. The aim is to get an immersive experience in a digital environment.

Programme origins

1899
ESC Dijon is created by an entrepreneur, LĂ©on Gadeau, with the support of industrialists and Burgundy wine merchants. It is located at 29 rue Sambin, still our home today.

1972
Second expansion of the school, with the installation of the first Honeywell computer, the creation of a second language laboratory, and an audiovisual room.

1987
ESC Dijon is one of the 14 founding schools of the Chapter of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles de Commerce.

2003
Creation of CEREN (Centre de Recherche sur l'Entreprise).

2008
Creation of LESSAC: Experimental Laboratory in Social Sciences and Behaviour Analysis.

2009
Creation of the INCUB ’incubator.

2013
On September 1, the Lyon campus opens.

2016
On October 11, ESC Dijon officially becomes BSB - Burgundy School of Business.

2017
Creation of the MSc Digital Leadership in Lyon, the precursor to this degree.

Tuition fees for the MSc Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology Management is €15,500. This rate is guaranteed throughout your course and is all-inclusive covering tuition, academic support, campus facilities, conferences and field trips.
