Graduate Program at Colorado School of Mines

Mines’ Analytical Geochemistry Graduate Program is designed for both full-time students and working professionals wishing to increase their knowledge in this ever-expanding field. Students will receive instruction in the fundamentals of geochemical analysis as well as the mechanics of common techniques in data collection and interpretation, giving them the flexibility to respond to the changing opportunities in earth and environmental science.

  • Letters of Recommendation: Not Required
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV): Required
  • Statement of Purpose: Not Required. Suggested if GPA is less than 3.0/4.0
  • Transcript(s): Required. Must be submitted for all schools attended (unofficial transcripts accepted for admissions review and must show successful completion of any required prerequisite course(s). 

Professional Master’s Non-Thesis

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Required 
  • GRE: Not Required
  • Letters of Recommendation: Required – two letters. Letters of recommendation are not required for current Mines students.
