As of September 2019, we will be offering the new MSc Professional Accounting (with Professional Study Preparation) programme at our London campus. Aligned with the ACCA, this postgraduate programme offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills in varying areas of accounting whilst preparing for ACCA’s Professional Papers during the Professional Study Preparation in the second year.

The Importance of the ACCA

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is an internationally-recognised association with over 208,000 members and 503,000 students worldwide. Its qualifications present opportunities to work in a multitude of accounting roles and put you in a strong position against opposing candidates.

The rise of automation in traditional accounting practice is a rising trend that receives a lot of media attention. Whilst some fear this may reduce the demand for accountants, many argue that this will make having a ‘human touch’ even more important. Accountants with emotional and cultural intelligence will be as important as technical expertise alone.

During the second year of the course, you will be have additional tuition to prepare you for the ACCA Professional Accounting papers. This module is provided by professional accounting trainers who will teach you the ins and outs of the extensive ACCA syllabus, and prepare you for the world of accounting.
