About the program
The Petroleum and Mining Engineering programme at Politecnico di Torino is renowned for its long tradition of excellence. Placed 15th in QS ranking for Petroleum in 2021, it has always benefited from a very strong link with industry and a broad international network.
From the academic year 2022-2023, the programme is strongly renewed to respond to the new challenges of energy and ecological transition and will be delivered under a new title: Georesources and Geoenergy Engineering. The fundamental knowledge and long-standing professional activities will be complemented by additional competences concerning digitalization, decarbonization, planning, and environmental impact mitigation.
The tracks in Petroleum Engineering and in Mining Engineering will be replaced by two new tracks: Geoenergy and Sustainable Mining.
The program is exclusively and entirely taught in English and hosts students from all over the world, offering an enriching international environment.
