The Elite MSc Program is based on grown synergies between basic research and clinical practice including neurobiologists, neuroanatomists, neurophysiologists, neurologists, psychologists and psychiatrists from the Faculties of Medicine and the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Würzburg. The students are trained for a patient-centered neuroscientific research at the interface of previously separate fields of neurobiology, neurology, biopsychology and psychiatry.

Our students encouraged and educated to develop creative ideas and methodological approaches essential for novel breakthroughs in diagnostic and therapeutic developments. Thus, molecular principles and modular concept development in experimental and clinical research are focused on in the Elite MSc Program. What our students say

"The master program "Translational Neuroscience" was a fantastic opportunity to get a widespread, yet really detailed overview about the main aspects and cutting-edge research tracks in neuroscience. We had the chance to learn from excellent professors in the lectures, and accompany skilled & eager young researchers in the practical sessions and internships. The structure was solid and provided a strong basis, but still allowed for wonderful individualization through many diverse elective courses.

I strongly recommend this program to every future scientist with a passion for neuroscientific research!"
