About the programme
The Ph.D. Program in Philosophy from Sofia University St.Kliment Ohridski, besides studies in residence, offers an opportunity for extramural studies (extramural studies is a Bulgarian version of distance learning).

Cultural Life and Recreation

There is a number of concert halls, dozens of art galleries, and many national and international cultural centers. Sofia is a favorable place for summer and winter sports including skiing in the nearby mountain of Vitosha.
