Wide-Ranging Curriculum

  • History and theory courses place current work into context with other times and places so you can see how where we came from influences where we are today, and where you may go tomorrow.
  • Design studios build your capacity to combine ideas and innovate new ones, supported by drawing and making courses.
  • Media courses harness the power of digital and physical making, offering you a range of visual languages to communicate your ideas.
  • Liberal education employs the arts, humanities, and sciences to explore our place in the world.

Career Options

The B.S. in Architecture is a pre-professional undergraduate degree that leads to the BAC's accelerated Two-Year Master of Architecture. While this degree does not prepare you for professional licensure, you may pursue a variety of different careers through this pathway, including:

  • Architecture
  • Architectural technology
  • Design visualization
  • Project management
My years at the BAC have strengthened my knowledge and skills to become a better designer. My classmates and teachers helped me become a better person, a person who understands privilege, or rather the lack of it, in the case of many marginalized groups. As a man, an immigrant and a Mexican myself, I have learned it is critical to always treat people with respect and kindness beyond stereotypes, beyond prejudice.
