MSc Global Health Management
Arden’s MSc Global Health Management will equip you with the technical, managerial and leadership skills needed to work in health management from a global perspective. Examining today’s most pressing healthcare management issues which transcend national boundaries, the course places emphasis on providing you with the latest skills in digital literacy and data analysis at use in global health management in the prevention of disease in global populations and the promotion of health and health equity among nations.

Programme Overview
Contemporary in its structure and with a delivery method that you’ll find highly flexible, the course has been developed in close collaboration with leading public health employers and industry advisory groups. You’ll be exposed to a number of innovative teaching approaches and assessment methods which have been brought together to support the development of your knowledge and abilities in global health management, helping you graduate with the specialised skills necessary for a successful career in the global health sector.
Syllabus Content
You will study seven core modules and choose one optional ‘elective’ module from a possible four options. This gives you the opportunity to adapt your course syllabus to match your career interests and support your future employability prospects.
Given the quantitative nature of some modules on the MSc Global Health Management, an introductory mathematics and statistics module is available to students who need extra support with their numeracy skills at the beginning of the course. Please make an enquiry for more details.
Accreditation
This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which means that graduates will be automatically awarded the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status. This professional status recognises that you have the foundation skills needed to be an effective manager, helping you to stand out from the competition and start your management career journey – with a clear pathway to achieving full Chartered Manager status. Graduates also gain a CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice.
Additionally, this course features curriculum validated by the Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA). The APHEA represents the five leading associations of public health in the European Region. This course has received the Skills for Health Quality Mark, which ensures exceptional healthcare training and development and is endorsed by the Institute of Health & Social Care Management, which grants access to conferences, workshops, and career networking opportunities.
Entry Requirements
- A UK bachelor’s degree or equivalent at 2:2 level
- Individuals who have HND/HNC/Dip HE, with three to four years strong professional work experience with evidence of managerial/supervisory responsibilities are also encouraged to apply
- We also consider applications from candidates who lack formal qualifications but possess at least five years of relevant managerial experience in any discipline.
