What will you learn?

Our MSc in Finance is your opportunity to excel in the world of finance, irrespective of whether you want to specialise in corporate finance, asset management, or other finance-related roles. In a programme with international students and faculty from around the world, you will learn to solve complex problems in uncertain environments. For instance, in corporate finance, you will grasp where a company’s value comes from and how different factors impact its financial situation. Similarly, in asset management, you will understand how changes to the risk-return trade-off affect portfolio weights.

The driving force behind this programme is the Department of Finance which is ranked among the top ten in Europe and has a strong international focus. As such, the MSc in Finance lays a solid foundation upon which you can build and apply your knowledge in practice. You will also gain important digital competencies. Beyond mastering Excel and programming, you will gain proficiency in working with data, e.g., in our Bloomberg room. As a member of the CFA’s University Affiliation Programme, our MSc in Finance also helps you on your journey toward becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), thereby enhancing your competitiveness in the job market.

In the face of the ever-changing needs of the financial industry, our objective is to equip you with the ability to identify the underlying economic issues and propose innovative solutions to address them. This prepares you for a thriving career while simultaneously creating value for society as a whole.
