Are you interested in the design of complex offshore energy systems or bioenergy systems? Studying the Master's programme in Sustainable Energy Engineering at AAU Esbjerg, you will learn about developing intelligent and effective methods to utilise energy resources.

You will work with the latest technologies within areas such as analysis and design of systems for offshore wind turbines, modelling complex offshore systems, process and bio-energy systems. You will learn how to design, develop and manage effective methods to utilise energy resources.

Furthermore, Aalborg University has a flexible incubator environment that supports your creative dream and business idea.

You choose one of two specialisations:

This is a full-time study programme with problem-based project work in groups. You will be working closely with other students most of the time, and you will be required to be present at the university on a daily basis and for the vast majority of your day.

AAU collaborates with external companies, which means that you will have opportunity to do your semester projects in collaboration with these or other external companies and gain some real-life, hands-on experience while you are studying.
