About the programme

By taking the Marketing programme from University of Hull, you’ll learn to understand consumer behaviour through marketing intelligence and analytics and how to harness the power digital marketing and social media.

You’ll explore market dynamics, marketing communications and branding while discovering the ‘holistic marketing’ approach: balancing an organisation’s goals against the needs of the environment and society.

Plus, you’ll have even more opportunities than ever before to make connections that will help you in your future career, from our many links with industry, as well as meeting with like-minded entrepreneurs, organisations and corporate partners in our recently enhanced Business Lounge. And you’ll have access to the Business School’s industry-standard facilities like the Bloomberg and Executive Education suites. Or you could help SMEs with their challenges via our Business Clinic.

Taking part in the programme of live business projects will deepen and test your marketing skills, confidence and knowledge of marketing concepts. As part of the annual marketing challenge, students had the chance to work with Team GB with the challenge of creating a marketing strategy to keep fans engaged between Olympic Games.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in a placement year to gain valuable work experience – and get paid. Recent companies who have worked with our students include Siemens Games, Jaguar Land Rover, IBM and Sony. You’re supported throughout by our friendly tutors and professional staff. Not bad for enhancing the CV.
