We tell you more about this programme.

What is American Track, IPAG's Grande École Programme in English?

American Track is an English track, i.e. the English-language version of the Grande École Programme offered by IPAG Business School. Like most IPAG courses, you can follow the business school curriculum in English on the IPAG Beaugrenelle and Nice campuses. American Track courses

The Grande École Programme in English consists of an initial three-year 'core' cycle during which you learn and consolidate the fundamentals. During the second two-year cycle, which can be followed on a sandwich basis, you are encouraged to specialise.

  • 1ʳᵉ year: the basics in management, marketing, law, and sales techniques are taught. You learn professional vocabulary in specific areas.
  •     2ᵉ year: you consolidate your knowledge of international trade, management, corporate law, financial analysis or logistics and purchasing. This is also the year when students can develop practical projects.
  •     3ᵉ year: this is the year dedicated to a semester abroad or the whole year at one of IPAG Business School's partner universities, a voluntary mission or an internship in an international company.
  •     4ᵉ year: for this first Master year, you must select one of six specialisations: Marketing and Business Strategy; Finance, Audit and Control; Purchasing and Supply Chain management; International Management; Resource Management; Entrepreneurship.
  •     5ᵉ year: you are trained in one of the 10 specialisations on the programme. During the year, you complete an end-of-studies placement abroad. You have the option of taking a double degree such as the MSc in Business Management double degree in the United States or MSc in Finance in London, at one of the partner universities.

Diplomas awarded on completion of the Grande École Programme in English

At the end of the American Track Grande Ecole Programme, students graduate with a 5-year degree and a PGE Master's in English. For students who have spent at least one semester studying on one of the partner campuses, this programme offers a double degree. The student simultaneously obtains the IPAG Business School Grande Ecole Programme diploma and that of the foreign university.

The last editions have brought together companies such as CBRE, Altran and IZI by EDF, which have had the opportunity to get a fresh look at their problems and to identify future high-potential graduates.

End-of-studies paper

The  Grande École Programme’s final dissertation is the link between the academic and professional world, since it deals with a theme related to the students' future professional life. Students choose their subject in the first semester, from a list drawn up by their thesis supervisor, who then guides them through each stage of the writing process including; constitution of the corpus, definition of the plan, conduct of the empirical study, and so on. A pre-presentation in May allows students to adjust the final work to be submitted (between 60 and 80 pages), before the presentation in front of a jury, which takes place in June or September. So you’re fully supported throughout the whole process.
