Our M.S. Ed. program offers an optional concentration in gifted and talented education that provides coursework for elementary school teachers seeking to enhance their knowledge and understanding of working with high ability learners.

The M.S.Ed. program with the gifted and talented concentration consists of 30 hours of coursework.

The coursework focuses on developing specialized approaches to student needs and on understanding the social and emotional needs of gifted learners.

It meets the required accreditation outcomes, prepares candidates with required research skills, guarantees that curriculum needs are met and adds the recognition of a concentration in gifted and talented instruction to the M.S.Ed. degree.
