Inspire and Guide Others in Honoring God with Liberty’s Master of Arts in Worship Studies -Leadership
At Liberty University, we take music seriously. We also know the skills needed to fill the role of worship pastor. You will acquire a firm background in theology, as well as develop a strategy for teaching theology as a worship leader. We will teach you the various roles the worship leader holds within the mandates of the overall church mission. Our School of Music is the seventh largest school of music in the nation, and we have the resources and expertise to teach you how to be successful in your ministry, mission, or discipleship program.
What Will You Learn in Our M.A. in Worship Studies – Leadership?
Gain a better understanding of the purpose and practice of a theology of worship in the local church. As a master’s student in worship studies, you will examine doctrine with an emphasis on Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, and the church as a whole. This will better prepare you to use your worship leadership position to spread the gospel.

Minimum Requirements
- Admission application
- Self-certification form (for students who are in the final term of their bachelor’s degree)
- Current Liberty undergraduate students seeking preliminary acceptance into a graduate program must complete a degree completion application through their ASIST account
- A regionally or nationally accredited bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 GPA for admission in good standing
