About the programme

With Architectural Engineering, you can use your growing knowledge of engineering by optimizing and integrating it within the holistic design processes, which will define the future’s sustainable building architecture.

You will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with both Danish and international companies – either as part of the courses, as an individual project or while writing your thesis.

The MSc is a two-year graduate programme with a workload of 120 ECTS credit points.

Specializations

The wide selection of technological specialsation courses at the degree in Architectural Engineering from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) gives the individual student the opportunity to make a very distinct and personal profile. Your fields of interests in engineering can most likely be combined with the design courses, in which you embed your engineering knowledge in your designs.

While it is very straightforward to make a study plan with a professional focus on Structural Design, Architectural Design or Energy Design, it is also possible to make study plans with other significant relevant profiles within Indoor Climate Design, Environmental Design or Design Management – by choosing your technological spezialisation from courses given by other (DTU)-departments than DTU Civil Engineering.
