The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology provides a quality education that focuses on the skills and knowledge needed by a diverse group of students in order to promote career advancement and to pursue advanced degrees in information technology. The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology offers a program that fosters critical thinking and is teaching the most current information technology skills needed by local, national, and global employers.

You can choose from diverse concentrations with high industry demand that cover the critical technology areas of programming for traditional, Web, and mobile applications, and for networking, database, and information security.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in information technology is expected to grow much faster than average, and job prospects should be excellent. While the field continues to be very robust, college graduates with expertise in computer network systems, cyber security, and database administration are expected to enjoy the best opportunities.
