What You’ll Learn
Beginning with a foundation of New York Tech’s general education curriculum, the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree program progressively introduces courses and experiences that encompass the wider domains of exercise, fitness, health, nutrition, and physical activity.
Our curriculum includes courses in kinesiology, aerobic conditioning, movement analysis, and a survey of athletic injuries. You’ll have access to the clinics, facilities, and resources of our College of Osteopathic Medicine and those of our other health profession majors. In your final year, you’ll take a capstone that pairs experiential learning and practical experiences at exercise and science-related facilities with a companion research course to help you develop skills in critical thinking, research, and communication.
