Overview

Students with Computing as a Second Major master the fundamental principles of computing, while training in the design and development of systems and applications.

This B.A. prepares students for careers or graduate work in fields that require a solid understanding of computing, and makes an ideal combination with another “big” major such as Engineering or Physics.

Computer science faculty are avid researchers, with interests spanning a broad range of topics, including theory, ethics, security, simulation of physical and social systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, bioinformatics, educational game design, mobile systems, and more.
