Description


The Master Course has the following objectives:
- Provide advanced and cutting edge training in design and marketing of textiles,, apparel and accessories, targeting those required to create differentiated products/brands, of high added value, with an impact on the sustainability of companies in the fashion industry value chain;
- Boost training of multidisciplinary teams with structured and integrated skillsets to manage the entire process of market knowledge and product creation and textile, apparel and accessories brands, which match emerging market opportunities or the creation of real value to its target customers;
- Foster R&D activity development conditions in the fields of design and marketing of textiles, apparel and accessories, considering the specificities of the knowledge domains they are part of.

Access to higher education


This Master degree provides basic training to carry out a course of 3rd cycle (PhD) in the same scientific area, or other areas.

Careers


Product designers, product managers, marketing managers, communication and image managers, in companies of the textile/clothing chain or similar areas. Adaptability of these functions to other industrial areas.

Entry requirements


Applicants should hold a degree in Marketing and Fashion Design, Clothing Design, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering and similar fields, or legally equivalent qualifications, in which the curriculum includes at least 60 ECTS in the areas of Design and/or Marketing. Exceptionally, in dully justified cases, an application of other applicants can be accepted, whose curriculum demonstrates proper base knowledge.
Candidates who attended the curricular part of a former edition of the Course can be admmitted as supranumerary applicants.
The Course applicants will be selected using the following criteria: academic curriculum, scientific curriculum, professional experience.
