The master’s in Organic Chemistry is an inter-university degree, taught jointly with the Complutense University of Madrid and the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The master's degree aims to provide a critical training, theoretical and applied, for admission to doctoral programs or for the exercise of the chemist profession in laboratories, production systems and private and institutional systems of R&D which require the domain of the Organic Chemistry.

Students must take all subjects of the module one, 24 elective credits to choose between the offer of the specialization module and, finally, the master's final project.

In the specialization module, students can choose subjects according to their preferences and they can select a specific orientation to take them deeper into the field that interests them.

The Master's Final Project is an experimental work of initiation to research that is conducted in the laboratories of the participating universities, institutions (Public Research Entities) or partner companies.

In the modules that require it, students may benefit from mobility programs agreed with the collaborative companies and institutions or with other universities in the framework of the corresponding agreements.

The scientific or professional orientation is guaranteed by the possibility that students to carry out training in research groups in universities or public bodies associated with the master's or associated companies. It is noteworthy that there are a number of companies that have signed agreements with the respective consortium universities to admit master's degree students for internships.

The study regime is full-time, teaching is based on classroom attendance and languages used are Galician, Spanish and English.

Academic activities begin in early September. For more information, visit the website of the Faculty.

The running of this master degree is conditioned to reach the minimum number of students established by Decree 222/2011, of December 2, which regulates the official university studies in the Galicia Autonomous Community.
