Studying 3D Media at Weber State

Weber State’s 3D media program gives artsy students who are in awe of Robert Smithson’s “Spiral Jetty” and Nancy Holt’s “Sun Tunnels” the skills to create your own three-dimensional art.

3D Media Highlights

Weber State’s Bachelor of Fine Arts offers a great deal of faculty engagement and mentorship, along with extensive studio practice and courses in art history and theory. 

Weber State features the work of BFA majors annually in the BFA Thesis Exhibit.

What You’ll Learn at Weber

In the 3D media program, you’ll be able to focus your learning on sculpture or ceramics while becoming familiar with a wide range of materials and techniques.
Through working in actual media, you’ll learn traditional, non-traditional and innovative forms and hone your skills in fabrication.

Projects are designed to enhance your self-esteem in the creative process and give you lifelong skills you can draw upon in any profession.

Design, concept and craft are stressed throughout the program.

What You Can Do After Weber

Graduates work in fields as diverse as architecture, industrial design, landscape design, sculpture, ceramics, engineering, business and more.

You’ll also be prepared to go on to a Master of Fine Arts program.
