Studying Dance Education at Weber State

Weber State’s dance education major prepares you to further your education in dance and teach in a public school setting with secondary education certification and a K-6 endorsement.

Dance Education Highlights

Weber State’s dance education major offers individualized attention from faculty with professional dance backgrounds and a variety of styles, along with the opportunity to co-produce your own concert.

You also will have the chance to learn from visiting artists from around the country.

Beyond the Classroom

As a Weber State dance education major, you can travel to dance conferences, festivals and workshops, as well as gain practical experience in a variety of teaching settings.

Dance students also have the opportunity to learn performance production skills and get hands-on experience working backstage.
